  The Day When There Was No Yesterday
  
  I cannot think of a day in my life when there wasn't a yesterday.   Except perhaps in my first day of life, which of course is impossible to retrieve this side of heaven.  Perry Marshall passed me this thought in his fascinating notes on the begining of the universe.  It seems Albert Einstein affirmed that the universe has a begining.  Marshall said  the universe has a pattern and intelligent design behind it.  Well, it looks like the whole debate about the existence of God .  It is, to Marshall, not just a theological issue, but a scientific one.  Go to his website (CelestialMechanic.com) and I gurantee you will be keen to get more on his thoughts if you are a science or physics lover.  He  talks about the difference between pattern and design, and showed that these two factors of the universe are linked by a discernible language, just as there is a pattern and design in our DNA code.
  The thrust of this matter is that the universe, and therefore life, is brought into being by an intelligent Creator.
  
  Now this is akin to music as a language with  a pattern and design.  Brings to mind Sister Maria of the "Sound of Music" - "Doe a deer, a female deer...."  And like she puts it, "Nothing come from nothing, nothing ever could.."
  
  You see, it's been this way since we read the Book of Genesis.  Our God is real. Readers' Digest (the best-selling magazine) once ran an article on some scientific enquiry into the para phenomenal, saying that scientists have been climbing every mountain of such PP cases to collect "factual data", and the magazine concluded with this poignant remark:  there is a suspicion that when the highest skeptical peak has been surmounted, sitting right atop is a theist who says to the stunned climber, "I told you so."
